Online Prescription Service
In order to use the new online prescription service you will need to register. Registration is quick and easy but has to be done in person at the surgery reception, you need to bring some photographic ID with you. The receptionist will be able to provide you with your unique username and password. You will then need to go to the surgery website (the address is with the information you will be given by the receptionist) and find the Online Services page. This will give you the link to SystmOnline so you can log into the service.
You are able to register other family members or people you care for ie partners/elderly parents but their registration details will be sent to them directly rather than given to you.
A parent or guardian can register and use accounts on behalf of children under the age of 11.
Once you are registered for online services you can request access to c your medical records. You will be sent some information and asked to sign and complete a registration form. The information explains your responsibilities for the security of your medical information and how you should safeguard access to it. Your usual GP will consider your request for access and will say whether it is appropriate or not. In some cases access may not be granted if there is information which might be considered harmful or upsetting to you or someone else. The practice is not obliged to give a reason for refusing access.
If you are not sure about accessing your records online, please ask to speak to the Administration Manager who will explain the process to you.
